speciesrights.org – Twitch has officially banned Kai Senat as of Thursday, January 26th. Currently one of the most popular live broadcasters in the world, Kai Senat has exploded in popularity over the past few years and has developed a large following across various social media platforms. Cenat has over 3.5 million followers on Twitch and over 3 million subscribers on YouTube as of this writing, but he’s also a controversial figure.
Kai Senat has been banned from Twitch many times in the past. StreamerBans started tracking Kai Cenat’s channel in 2021. His first comment since tracking began was on July 17, 2021, while his second stop was on August 7. Those first two bans only lasted one day, but Cenat’s third ban, issued on March 2, 2022, lasted a full month.
Kai Cenat’s fourth and final suspension came on Thursday January 26 but it’s unclear exactly how long it will last. Twitch has not released an official statement explaining why it decided to ban Senat from its platform, nor did it say how long the ban will last. However, there is a strong theory that Sena’s ban was due to an incident in which she passed out after eating food during a recent live broadcast.
As this is Cenat’s fourth ban on Twitch, it’s highly unlikely that he will be banned from the platform permanently. Twitch has shown in the past that it’s willing to give bigger Twitch streamers more opportunities.
For example, Twitch banned Amouranth five times, but none of the bans lasted long and you never received a permanent ban. Given Cenat’s popularity, it’s possible the ban won’t last very long, but at this point, no one knows exactly how long the ban will last.
One of Twitch’s permanent bans that the streaming platform has complied with is Dr. Disrespect. Dr. Disrespect’s ban from Twitch is still shrouded in mystery, with no details on the exact reason for his ban. Twitch hasn’t technically revealed the exact reason for Cenat’s ban, but many fans have speculated that it’s due to his eating status.
